The client struggled to find a motion solutions provider that could meet their high customization and quality standards required for surgical applications. Previous suppliers were unable to deliver the necessary customizations or maintain the stringent quality control needed. They also faced recurring issues with leadscrew bends with competitive product.
CUSTOM SOLUTION:
We collaborated closely with the client and distributor to address all design needs. The customization for this client, including packaging and control features, was critical. The product was also sterilized and assembled in a class 10,000 clean room.
Customizations for NEMA External Leadscrew Linear Actuator included:

• Custom wiring with twisted pairs, terminated to client-specified connectors
• Manual turn feature for manual control when powered off
• Custom packaging and labels
