Gearheads are ideal for increasing output torque without increasing the motor mounting footprint.

To calculate the output torque and speed of a gearhead, simply provide inputs to the following fields:

• Motor Output Torque (Nm)

• Motor Output Speed (RPM)

• Gearhead Ratio

• Gearhead Efficiency

The following can be calculated using the following formulas:

• Gearhead Output Torque =
  (Motor Output Torque) x (Gear Ratio) x (Gearhead Efficiency)

• Gearhead Output Speed =
  (Motor Output Speed) / (Gear Ratio)
